So here it is, the ins and outs of our music, how we started, what we started with, the sound, where we are at, what the future holds and where you're going to be able to get hold of it.
Here's how it all began...
Syst3m 32 began life as a covers band, well, when we say covers what we mean is, versions of songs you probably already know, some played with great faith to the original and some our own interpretation. Just a few of our faithful versions of songs you know and love include:
- Warning - Greenday
- Get a Job - Offspring
- Drive - Incubus
And some of the more 'Syst3m' interpretations include:
- Crazy - Gnarls Barkley
- She Hates Me - Puddle of Mudd
On some of the more unique versions we found that they all started to evolve. They developed a sound that we have called, the sound of the Syst3m. With this we decided it was time to take things a little further than covers and come up with some original material that rang true to the sound of the Syst3m.
The sound, where it's at and where it's going
We found it really useful that our lead guitarist already had some lyrics up his sleeve, we just needed to apply the music to it, we had a basic idea of chords and what not so just started playing away. It took a long time, a real long time, but things started to develop, the sound became enriched but most of all, developed that much publicized sound of the syst3m.
The lyrics of course got a tweak too, things got chopped and changed but it's all come together in the end:
- You're Ice
- Why Can't I Write A Song?
- Untitled
- An Aura of Calm
- I Don't Think So
- Red Label
- This Great Land
- You Crucify Me
- Not A Love Song
So there you have it, that's the current sound of Syst3m 32. Want to know more? Best place to hear us is live... check out our gigs page.

Where we're heading and the future
The future of the system sound is never really clear, we like what sounds good, we're constantly trying new so never expect to see the same thing twice (unless we really like it that much). A harder edge to the syst3m is coming, we're all along for the ride, are you?
