Another Thursday Practice

I've been somewhat bullied into writing a blog entry, it's my first time, so be gentle.Thursday saw another awe-inspiring practice at the music co-op. Even though our room was 'upgraded' at the last minute, the first half hour was dogged by catastrophic technical failure of the lead guitar amp (or was it sabotage?). The second incarnation of the strokeable bass got its first outing, and seemed very happy plugged into an amp the size of a house. That's £3.50 you guys owe me now. Alex soldiered on despite fighting off a bad case of bird flu and entertained us with some mucous filled vocal delights. Nigel managed to smash up an entire drum kit, he made out it was like that when we got there, but we let him off after he did something rather special with his toms. Or something. Afterwards we retired to The Golden Lion for a post-practice pint or two, where Alex charmed the old ladies with his olbas oil. Rock on!
